FOOD Information

FOOD is an acronym for Feasts of our Destiny and our concept for deepening the understanding of Christianity by appreciation of the Feasts of the Lord as outlined in the Christian Bible .

Our mission is to bring these biblical celebrations to life and aim to educate and inspire by exploring the profound meanings and traditions behind each of the Pilgrimage feasts, that includes Passover, Pentecost, Tabernacles, and Hanukkah.

The Feasts of the Lord are more than just historical events; they are divine appointments that offer profound insights into our life’s journey. Each feast carries unique lessons for encouraging us to reflect on our faith and relationship with God. By engaging with these sacred events, we not only honor the God who gave us these feasts but it also strengthens our own personal spiritual growth. Join us by getting a copy of “Feasts of our destiny” and delve into these celebrations and uncover their relevance to your life in today’s world.

At each event of Passover, Shavuot, Sukkot and Hanukkah we aim to setup events with three course meals based upon the event related menus that will be available to anyone wanting to attend.

We will be publicizing the events soon and will provide location and costs but more on that later. This is what service FOOD provided back in the 90’s (Read the book Feasts of out Destiny) and at each event you would experience something of the presence of God in the simplicity and sincerity of our gatherings. Use the contact form on the Home page to register an interest.

We are using ‘FOOD’ that is our acronym for ‘Feasts of our Destiny’ to present a simple message of the gospel. No stage. No bright lights, no loud bashing music, just simple community in a friendly atmosphere.

Each event would start with an initial prayer followed by a three course sit down meal, this would be accompanied with music and then a short and encouraging Gospel message before concluding the evening with a song.

Menus used are our own researched recipes and if anyone would like more details then you can contact us using the contact form on the home page.

Hanukkah (The light of the world) December

As part of these FOOD events, we intend to include the seasonal time of Christmas as a Hanukkah expression for a festival of lights extravaganza that included a typical English Christmas dinner with lots of light and candles. A kind of Chrismukkah.

You need to get a copy of the book ‘Feasts of out Destiny’ to read and get the full run down on what this is about.
